BJFF’s Season Finale football tournament will take place on Sunday 26th May 2019.

Please note the age groups used in our tournament will be the age groups for the 2018/2019 (CURRENT) season.

The tournament will be held at our home ground, on Bispham Gala Field, off All Saints Road (postcode FY5 3AL). Directions will be issued to all confirmed entrants, via our comprehensive Tournament Welcome Pack.

There will be a full programme of entertainment throughout the day, with catering facilities on site serving hot and cold food and drinks, ice cream, sweets, plus inflatables, bouncy castles, Penalty shoot out game, hair and face painting, and an on-site photographer, with pictures available to purchase throughout the day. We also look forward to welcoming you to our Club House – the “BJFF Community Hub”.

We will have qualified officials to officiate in ALL games and remind you that each team manager is responsible for all of its players, coaches and spectators. Any disputes will be settled by the Tournament Coordinator.

There will be a maximum of 28 teams per age group in ALL AGE GROUP Competitions. Teams will be split into groups with each team playing each other. The tournaments will be played in accordance with the FA guidelines for mini soccer (5-A-Side, 7-A-Side) and the FA guidelines for 9-A-Side football (incorporating the offside regulations). There will be no maximum entries per club per age group. However, players may only play for one team throughout the tournament.

  • U8 5-A-Side Mini Soccer Competition (Max Squad Size 10)

  • U9 & U10 7-A-Side Mini Soccer Competition (Max Squad Size 14)

  • U11 9-A-Side Competition (Max Squad Size 18)

The winners in EACH age group will be presented with a trophy and all players participating in the final receiving a trophy.

Under 8’s will be Competitive, but despite this ALL participants will be provided with a medal in a presentation ceremony.

NOTE! – The format will be flexible for different numbers of entries, but our overriding principle will be to ensure that ALL players play as much football as possible.

Tournament registration will be between 08:45 and 09:30 with all age group games kicking off at 10:00.
